Local climate

Dubrovnik and its territory enjoy typical Mediterranean climate, with hot and dry summers and gentle winters. Blessed with an annual daily average of 2774 hours of sunshine, Dubrovnik is considered one of the sunniest places in Europe. The mean temperature in April is 14 °C (Min. daily temp. 11 °C and Max. daily temp. 17 °C) with 11,2 days with possible precipitations.

Currency and banking

Croatian Kuna is the official currency in the Republic of Croatia. Foreign currency exchange is available at most hotels, banks and exchange offices throughout the city. Paying by cash in Euro is also possible for some items – private accommodations, taxis, some small restaurants etc.
